Joy in Dudeville (well, 1/4 of Dudeville anyway)

I think we're headed for a Saints-Pats Super Bowl, which would be America's Team Ver. 2.0 vs. America's (Except for New England) Least Favorite Team. And good versus evil is the most classic of storylines, so I could get behind that. Much better than Bears-Colts, which will interest no one outside of two Midwestern states...

In a good v evil matchup like that between the Saints and the Pats, I'll say got Pats!! Also, between the Colts and the Pats, I'll root for the team with the funnier QB (judging by their commercials) - unquestionably, that means Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Obviously, I meant go Saints in that prior comment!!
BTW, Tylwalk, when is this blog going to publish its first mock draft, and when do you think the Cowboys will address their most critical need - holder

I think the Colts break through and give us Saints/Colts, which will be the first Super Bowl I can remember where America will be rooting for both teams. Though our power went out yesterday afternoon and I had to listen to the second half on the radio, it sounded like the Pats were given many gifts, and I don't see that happening now that Indy finally gets New England at home in January. Though I'd be content with Saints/Pats, for the reasons stated by Nick T.
I think I was more frustrated with the Cowboys yesterday than I was last week -- I think we'd have beaten the Bears.

BTW, I'm loving (not really) that Texans rejects are leading the playoff charges of their respective teams (Jabar Gaffney, Reggie Bush)

While I have pulled for the Saints all year, I think I might have to root for the Bears next weekend because if the Pats do advance (and I have my doubts), I don't want to be up against the world.

Either way, I am saddened by the lack of Dude support.

I think this is the appropriate moment for me to pull a Kanye and opine that Neal Morgan does not care about black people.

If the Pats hadn't won three Super Bowls this decade, I might consider pulling for them for Neal's sake, because we know of all the dudes, he's the only one who doesn't root against any other dude's teams. But given the aforementioned fact, and with fan favorites like the Colts and Saints still around, down with the Pats!
