Tylwalk NFL Mock Draft (TM) News -2/22/07

Looks like the case for the Raiders taking a QB with that first pick just got a whole lot stronger, unless they plan on subjecting us to more Andrew Walter next year. They gave Aaron Brooks his walking papers today after just one season. JaMarcus Russell, here we come!

This development could have a substantial impact on my fantasy football strategy next year. For the past year, the ploy of picking up the defense playing Oakland was instrumental in my team getting into the championship game in one of my two leagues.

No, I think that still might work. I don't expect Russell to adapt to the pros as quickly as Vince Young. Plus there are rumblings that Randy Moss and/or Jerry Porter will be gone, raising a serious question of who will be catching his passes. I fully expect the Raiders offense to be, well, offensive...

I saw ESPN had John Talley listed as the biggest snub from the combine. 312 players invited and he wasn't among them? I thought he was supposed to be a high-round pick?
