Spot the Former Chronicle Staffers...

... in this article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Here's a hint: there are two of them.

That's some nice, free pub, though I'm also concerned now that my 10 Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck rookie cards are worthless.

No, hold onto those. They're the exception to the rule, though they still won't ever be worth what they could have been had Junior not made his many, many trips to the DL over the years.

What about my Gregg Jefferies "future stars" card from Topps?

I was planning on retiring on the money I got for that guy when I sold it.

So Sostek, when will the feature story on old college friends reuniting over blogs appear in the Gazette?

Sorry, I was skiing yesterday. When I do my highly-paid lawyers who blog all day at work story, I'll let you know.

I want to know if anyone heard Anya's podcast. Is it just the audio version of the article or is there some exclusive content?

wow... i didn't even notice multimedia anya!

can someone (anya) go listen to the podcast and tell us what it says?

I listened to the podcast - thank goodness it was free! Anyway, Anya has like a 3 min. Q&A with the host where they talk in more detail about some parts of her story. Regular readers of About Sports Cards probably are already up to speed with the super-premium sports card market, but my site doesn't have Sostek's sultry radio voice reading the articles!

BTW, I thought Anya was married. Did she have too much invested in the Sostek name to change it?

I actually haven't listened to the podcast yet, but with all the buzz it's generating, I guess I should.

For official government documents, I am now Anya Felice Webb, but I kept Sostek for the byline. I wouldn't want my loyal readership to get confused.
