The Vision is Over for 2007!

If you couldn't feel that we were going to lose that game, you haven't been watching Duke at all this season. By the way, no team has ever lost in its first game in a conference tourney and gone on to win the NCAA Tournament, so... let's go Journey!

And oh yeah, I guess UCLA is done too...

A friend of mine went down for the tourney, but his flight left RDU tonight at 6:59. Oops...

At the start of the season my low expectations left me rather apathetic to the team, but during the last two months I started to care. Man I wish that hadn't happened.

It's hard for me to stomach, but I'm about to suffer the ultimate college hoops embarrassment in my family come Sunday when Notre Dame gets a (deservedly) higher seed than Duke...

You'll get revenge next November, don't you worry!

Undude's right -- I was laidback until late January, and then finally hit a point where I actually got into the season, especially when we appeared to rally after the four-game slide. It's odd, because a night like tonight, where you get an unexpected boost from Pocius, and fairly solid games out of the big three, you think it should be enough.
But apparently that's not the case this year, even against mediocrity.
This could push us down to an 8-seed, and a potential date with Florida in the second round. Revenge for 2000?!

Not a chance!

Was anyone else shaking his head when McRoberts thundered down the lane for that dunk late in the game and thinking, "Why doesn't he do THAT more often?"

Especially given that THREE State players were in foul trouble and on the court. McRoberts should've gotten layups on every possession.
