I'm admittedly not a big NFL draft guy, but even I find Quinn sliding captivating. For the 90% of the country that can't stand Notre Dame, it's Quinn-tastic!

great move by dallas to get next year's no. 1 from cleveland... that pick is going to be in the top 10, if not top 5

I agree -- they ended up picking 26th, and just about every rookie QB (Vince Young being an exception) struggles mightily his first year, so if the Browns start Quinn from the beginning, it was a good one.

Just weeks after reaffirming that Tom Brady - notorious sperm dropper extraordinaire - remains their starting QB, the Patriots follow it up by drafting Brandon Merriweather and trading for Randy Moss.... Are the Patriots the new Bengals????

I guess it just adds extra spice to the Patriots/Cowboys showdown in October -- Moss vs. TO!

I was a bit surprised to see Mortensen, Kiper et al talking this morning about how the Cowboys will live to regret trading away Quinn if Romo doesn't blossom. But that's missing the point -- the Cowboys believe they're built to win now, and a playoff team doesn't turn the keys over to a rookie QB.

Alas, technical and logistical issues kept me from liveblogging the draft. I'll get on that next year, because TheDraftGeek.com is building for the future!

As for analysis of the draft, I'll be all over that over the next few days...
