Welcome to the McCallie Journey

According to ESPN, after a few weeks of anxiety, the Journey appears to have found a replacement for Gail - current MSU head coach Joanne McCallie. The unexpected Joanne led the Spartans to the 2005 NCAA Championship game against Baylor and, if the reports are true, would bring a seven year record of 149-75 to Duke.

Coach McCallie, welcome to the Journey!!!

I guess not bad, all things considered. Ironic that if they had given Goestenkors last year what they're about to have to pay this new one, Alleva probably could've avoided the whole process.

I think this hiring reminds me how little I know about the sport. Outside of the ACC, I know three coaches. One because she was a former Journey assistant, and two others because they are Pat Summitt and Geno Auriemma.

Well.. Undude, I think you'd probably know Gail Goestenkors, who coaches at Texas - and that make four, at least. And after the Don Imus fiasco, you might know C Vivian Stringer
