The Joy of Sox

Ahh... Nothing like eliminating the Yankees by end of May. If the BoSox can sweep this upcoming 3 game series against the Yanks, the division race is over (the Yanks would be 13.5 games out).

The pitching matchups: Wakefield v. Wang; Tavarez v. Moose; GOP Turd v. Roger's boyfriend. The Yanks catch a break in missing Dice K, but should be an interesting series nonetheless. Well, about as interesting as May baseball can be.

Dude, you're letting THEM enter your mind and control you. Who cares about an irrelevant early-season series between one team off to a fast start and another team that's mediocre?

We've got the NBA conf finals, the Rockets hiring Adelman, the Wings trying to stay alive, a photo finish at the Preakness -- so much in the world of sports with more excitement now...though if it was simply a trick to try and entice the undude to return to the blog, then i support your efforts.

Head Dude, stop trying to conflate horse racing with sports... Horse racing is just a vehicle of animal abuse and high stakes gambling for multi-millionaires.

Head Dude's reference to the Preakness reminded me again of NBC's outrageous decision to preempt overtime in favor of PRE-Preakness Coverage (which runs about 80 minutes - because it's so important for the viewers to watch millionaire owners talk about their prized horses, while watching those horses walk around the race track). Terrible move NBC, Terrible move...

Dude, what does "conflate" mean? You confuse me with your 10-cent vocabulary.

Dudes, like the rest of America I do not care about horse racing, hockey (which I am stunned to learn is televised), or some very unenticing NBA playoff action. I look forward to ping pong balls and a summer of baseball. But all of this is simply to bide my time until Nov. 17. And speaking of which, I hope you all saw that for the second straight year, we failed to win the football graduation award. Surely this is a sign that more Ws are in the future?
