Save us Vegas!

Dear Las Vegas,

You've saved us so many times before. We ask that you come through this once more -- deliver us Nevada this afternoon, and save us from the likelihood of a Hillary nomination. If we lose you, we may never build up enough momentum for Super Tuesday, and that may mean a Republican president. Show the polls are wrong, get the culinary workers who we've seen at so many of your casino floors and buffets out to caucus, and show us once more that you're the most magical place on earth.

Yours truly,

The Dudes

Bah, we all know that the culinary workers will caucus for whoever The House tells them to! Remember, The House always wins... in the long run anyway.

Ugh, lady luck let us down.
Big time.
This is makes it really really tough now.

we have SC in our back pocket... despair not... things not looking good in the Super Tuesday states, however...

What sucks is that I was hoping that the race would stay close enough for us (Pennsylvania) to actually have a say when our primary rolls around... in May! Sadly I now fear that will not be the case...

Yep. I was hoping the same for Texas in early March. Super Tuesday may not be decisive for the Republicans, but it's to imagine how it won't be for the Dems ... though at this point I hope it's not!

I wish Edwards would freaking drop out, because I feel (maybe incorrectly) that most of the people voting for him would back Obama and make this thing closer.

It's an accurate feeling -- polls consistently show that Edwards' supporters overwhelmingly would choose Obama as their second choice.
But I think he has too much ego to pull out before Super Tuesday, even if he gets shellacked in South Carolina too.
It's kind of like Nadar -- at some point if you really care about the country more than your own ambition, you pull back and recognize that you're only hurting your positions. Doesn't seem to matter much to them.
