I thought that was a butt kicking!

Palin probably surpassed the threshold set for by her: (1) insisting that seeing Russia over the Alaska gives her foreign policy experience; (2) not being able to name any news sources; and (3) not being able to name Supreme Court cases other than Roe v. Wade. Yes, she lasted 90 minutes without drooling and speaking in gibberish - but is epidemic question-dodging and repetition of talking points really an improvement on gibberish??

But let's not let forget the real star of the night - Joe Biden. Now that was a command performance.

I guess the bar was so low for Palin that simply redirecting questions and giving "folksy" touches to some of ther answers makes it seem like she did well.

Please America, show just a tiny bit of intelligence and do not let that woman become Vice President!

Except these poll numbers scare me.
Sure they have Biden winning and he does well but (I grabbed this off the CNN website)

"But respondents said the folksy Palin was more likable, scoring 54 percent to Biden's 36 percent."

Likeable? What the heck does that have to do with anything. She's not going to be kickin back and downing a cold with you on the back porch if elected.

"with 53 percent of those polled giving the nod to the Delaware senator while 42 percent said Palin was more likely to bring change."

Really, America? 42% That's an awfully high number. I suppose the question didn't ask "change for the better"
